Introduction
Cuttlefish are a unique invertebrate species that is most known for its ability to drastically and quickly change its color. The changes in color are controlled by chromatophores (Halloway, 2000). Cuttlefish inhabit tropical ocean waters, however they are absent from the Americas. Typical habitat ranges from East and South Asia, Western Europe, the Mediterranean, as well as some of the coasts of African and Australia (Young, 1998). Characteristic features of Cuttlefish include, and are not limited to: eight arms equipped with suckers, large eyes, and they can range anywhere from 15cm to over 50cm in the largest species, Sepia apama, which can also weigh an excess of 20 pounds.
